Equipped with the most advanced Campetella EVO control unit

Campetella EVO is a CNC control unit featured by last generation hardware and software that assures the most advanced functions for maximum control. Through a light and ergonomic interface, it allows to easily program and manage all the robot’s functions.

CNC control cabinet integrated on board or electric panel on the ground

MC2 X-Series is equipped with a CNC control cabinet integrated on board. As a result, ground footprint is zeroed and the maximum plant cleaning is guaranteed, due to the total absence of wiring on the pavement. For increased requirements in terms of accessibility and maintenance, the electrical panel on the ground is available on request, in lieu of the CNC control cabinet integrated on board.

The mechanical structure of MC2 X-Series

The vertical axis group is frontally fixed on the extraction axis. This results in reduced overhangs, high mechanical balance and total absence of collision problems between the article and the extraction axis.

Configurable with three different types of vertical axis

In order to meet different requirements in terms of payload, stroke and dimensions, the MC2 X-Series robot is available with 3 different types of vertical axis. Type B: direct single stroke axis, simple and functional. Type H: telescopic double stroke axis, maximum stroke for minimum vertical dimensions is the ideal solution for installations with ceiling height restrictions. Type M: direct single stroke axis, reinforced structure for the highest payload.

Type H and M are featured by pneumatic balancing cylinder, a device that supports the vertical axis servo-motor work, increasing maximum payload and minimizing energetic consumption.

Configurable wrist: up to 5 servo-driven digital axes

The robot is equipped as standard with a pneumatic C-axis wrist that allow the flat positioning of the picked-up parts in the mold, making it possible to choose between two programmed positions (vertical / horizontal).

For more complex handling requirements, different wrists with additional axes pneumatic or electric drive are available. In the most advanced configuration, the wrist is featured by 2 servo-driven digital axes, allowing the manipulator the maximum level of control with its 5 electrical axes.

 For the most demanding applications in terms of speed, the MC2 X-Series has been developed in the exclusive HS version, featured by enhanced engines for a sensational cycle time of up to 4.5 seconds.
